i got the feeling that the bling ring was trying to distance itself from judgement....

it seemed to me she was trying for a distanced, objective almost anthropological view of the whole story, but in trying to maintain that view it just sort of ended up being sort of washed out of much meaning. korine's view is much more subjective and biased, but that gave it the edge that it needed.
