Four miles was to the end, then there was a climb up a hillside to the site we were looking for. I turned back after about a mile and a half, and

the second group decided not to climb the mountain. The people who did go on up would have spent some time at the site, then had to come back down and hike the four miles back to the vehicles. Our fearless leaders estimated about 2 miles to the end of the trail.
On Saturday they figured about 2 miles to a petroglyph site...I gave up after a mile :)
