haven't seen it but this reminds me. I love how they go to a micro scene that shows what they;re talking about.

when they did it twice in last week's episode it was hilarious.
It's interesting...those moments can be written funny both ways. Both when they show you what they're talking about and when they leave it up to the imagination of the audience. Scrubs was great at both of these tactics. New Girls is better at showing you than any show I can think of right now. It's one of the devices that makes that show genius.
