West Virginia had Rockefeller leave and the Dems don't have a bench there.
South Dakota for Byron Dorgan -- same thing -- SD is not a blue state.
Montana is Montana, rather red as well and the Democrats didn't convince the ex-Governor to run.
Basically it comes down to 2008 was a banner year for Democrats in a lot of places (Alaska for one)...now they have to defend those places.
