I know at least 2 problems with Trophy Wife. The title and the lead-in.

I've not heard good things about Goldbergs.
And it didn't help that they didn't reshoot the daughter's scenes in the pilot. They replaced the actress with one that looks noticeably younger.
I also like that the people running the show told one reporter that they would have more for Natalie Morales after screening the pilot, only to have her be non-existent in the second episode.
