I presume the reason why Jacksonville wanted an extra pick was to compensate for what they would have gained after the season. That means they either valued him as a 4th round or 5th round compensatory selection. Assuming that speculation is true, the net value of Monroe is -at most- a 4th round.

Baltimore molested the Jags in this deal.
