1) The funding for the bill does have to come from somewhere, and the medical device companies should make it up in volume because more people will actually be able to use their products.
2) NO! Please just go read and fact checking organization on the facts and understand that a) they are not exempt and b) the subsidies that they would be getting are the same financial amount they were previously getting for their private insurance.
