my feelings toward it are heavily influenced by the book. I loved the first half (of the film), then it went downhill (spoilers)

didn't really dig the video game stuff, even though that was in the book, they gave it too ridiculous a feel in the movie. the happy ending kind of sucked too. the book is much darker.
