I hardly ever get receipts when I make a transaction at the bank - 99.9% of the time I think it's a waste of paper.

Friday I went to make a transfer, and when I checked this morning I saw the money had been taken out of one account but not deposited into the other.

I went back to talk to the teller with the receipt I can't believe I kept, and it turns out they had transferred my money into some random person's account.

Good thing I was paying attention.
