Closing is the 25th. 18 days! The contract says occupancy upon closing.

I'm afraid to pack. I just know something will go wrong if I do.
I want the keys in my hand. Then I'll change the locks, have the carpets deep cleaned (he has a Chihuahua, there are no smells I can detect but the cats probably will), have some small things done (cat litter closet, some painting, figure out how I'm going to set up a water filter.
This is one time when I'm thankful for furlough so I can do all this. Of course, they could also call me back before I've done everything.
