LIR: Loyola. What's L.A. like during the Oscars?

I have no idea, I stay in and watch it at home. :) I do know there's parties galore all weekend. But then, that happens when most huge industries have a convention. All the nicest bars and clubs are closed, because everyone in the industry throws a party. I have no idea if people watch it in bars. I'd like to, but honestly, I don't think it's done.
