Uhm... what caused our smoke detector talk earlier? Got this in an email from Bub's teacher an hour ago:

Today first grade viewed the Fire Safety show led by the White River Fire Department! We learned how to properly escape our house in case of a fire and were able to see what firefighters look like in their gear so we would not be afraid of them. First graders were able to go through an ambulance and a fire truck! They look forward to writing about their experiences in their story journals J For homework this evening, students will be talking to you about your fire escape plan and counting the smoke detectors. Thank you in advance for you assistance!
