If they pushed off this debate by 6 weeks, the defund Obamacare issue is dead. Eliminating the mandate is their next "logical" step.

In six weeks, people will be enrolled. the issue will be moot. The fact that the continuing resolution was timed to coincide with the start of Obamacare was a God-send for them in terms of timing. Mind you, it didn't pan out. And I put "logical" in quotes above because nothing they do is particularly logical, but the next deadline is the tax penalties for the individual mandate. They'll fight that fight until the deadline has come and gone and the penalties have been issued.
