I liked how they wrote around "how" he died. It doesn't matter and they're right. He was 19. He died. That's an awful thing. At that age you're barely more than a baby. You're able to do some adult things but you're a baby upstairs.
I really had to hold it together during the scene with Kurt and his parents. That was probably the toughest scene for me. It rang true. The bit about waking up, and then remembering that he's dead...we've all had similar experiences I think.
There's always bad writing in the show unfortunately as well as some subpar acting. The Coach/Puck scene being really bad.
But overall I think they did well and did an honor to his memory.
