About a year ago I went to a Half-Life wiki to find a work around for something. As soon as the site opened MS Security Essentials went nuts. I was also infected with one of those pain in the ass programs that take over your homepage, search engines, etc. I emailed the sitemaster and he responded that the site was clean. I replied basically just telling him bullshit. The next day I got an email from Gmail telling me that they had stopped several thousand emails from going out from my account and that I should get my shit tight. Coincidence? I don't think so. It took me about a day to manually remove the trojan, then I went around and changed passwords for everything.
I don't know why I just told you all this, except that it really pissed me off and I wanted to share my pain. :)
