Well... was a very interesting trip to Kentucky for the game business...

Was invited to Louisville to Demo Thrash-Car to a large game group out there. SO planned a trip figured we could get some good press and some good reviews. And fiancees family lives there so free stay.

At last minute angies work makes her stay and I have to go by myself and stay with people I have met once...that was fun. I think her parents were starved for someone other than each other to talk to and well ...ugh :) They love to talk poliltics and I really just mostly hate and ignore them for the most part.

Right before we went my former boss's boss introduced me to a guy that lives out there that might want to discuss turning the board game into an app game.

So I go see him friday. I thought it was funny that the street he was on for his office had same name as his last name. Well I pull in and the office, the business park and the street have his last name. LOL. Well it is his grandfather's last name...a little intimidated all of a sudden.

Pitched Thrash-Car AND Dead Game Hunter (beta) to him. An hour later he sends me to the game company hes a board member for. Result was they loved the games and if they have room in their production schedule we will partner and make video games of the board games (not apps - we will try to find another partner for that). So that was exciting.

Sat day-night - demoed Thrash-Car about four times to a bunch of different people. They all liked it. Some loved it and some were like "not my motif" but the mechanics and game play are great. Most agreed to post comments or reviews.

Flying home yesterday got a tweet from one of the 6 reviewers I send pre-prod versions to and he and his friends loved the game.

So all that said I am pretty hopeful that the reaction to TCAR will be good and hopefully we will hit at least the 16K fund point we have set starting Oct 29th.

Kind of exciting.
