Yeah, it just made for odd changes in tone.

I mean he started out hard and got folks going, then went softer before going hard again at the end. That progression makes sense but:
1. The soft center was probably a little too long, the crowd seems to get a little restless.
2. After getting the crowd going really really well with the last 4 or 5 songs in the main set, he then came back and went super mellow. There was no energy for the encore from the crowd.

It just felt weird. I wonder if he would have been better served to close the main set hard, and then come back and do just 1 hard song as encore and then leave.

But again, I liked it and thought it was good. Just analyzing how I (and the crowd) could have enjoyed it even more
