so, i did and he did the 'oh just like the Dukes."

i didn't respond, i just waited for him to continue.

then he said "oh, did i catch you off guard with that comment?"

i normally make a joke out of it, but he was already being a pain in the ass so i said "no, not exactly. i've just heard it almost daily since i was about 8."

*big pause by him*

then he just kept going like it all hadn't happened.

ha.

(moral - the obvious joke is rarely funny.)
