If Netflix can squeeze money out of a dying platform - be it DVDs by mail or cable - then why should anyone object?

If projecting movies on the moon was a viable revenue stream for them, they'd be wrong not to do it. It can be argued that being a cable channel will prolong the viability of cable, but it will also prolong a revenue stream for a publicly traded company. The accountants and shareholders will be happy.
