Illinois is very close. Supposedly a poll is coming out today showing 52% approval for SSM in Illinois.

The fall session starts tomorrow, so it's possible they could vote on it before the end of the year. The fall session is weird, though, in that anything approved doesn't take effect until the middle of next year, but if they wait until January, anything approved takes effect immediately.
