Apps come directly from the App Store, linked to your account. Some saved data will be lost.

Depends on whether the app - the games, specifically - save their content in the cloud. Some Angry Birds games, for instance, have a Rovio login so no matter where you login, your progress is saved. Candy Crush saves all your progress in the cloud if your use your Facebook account. Other stuff... all progress will be lost.
