It's such a shame that they couldn't work out a better deal. That place is NY institution that is landmark to a lot of people.

So much of what makes this city a special place is being torn down.
I get that the owner has the right to do with his land what he pleases but to lose that art institution is such a shame. It hurts to know it won't be there in a few months.
I don't think they have even a slight chance of saving the place and it sucks.
