I told Kelly that he was fortunate he made the catch given he seemed to have zero awareness of hitting the wall.

if that wall wasn't there, it would have been a routine fly ball...and he shorted the wall by a foot; right before he had to catch it.
That ball woudln't have shocked me to see dropped since he hit the wall unexpectedly.
