Oh wow, our drizzle we've had all day has turned into snow. It's just down to 29 degrees so we should only get a couple of inches. This is the earliest

We've had snow in this town since we moved. The former earliest was on Halloween. It was so funny seeing the little kidlets wearing parkas over their costumes.

This will melt by tomorrow afternoon, we'll go up in the 40s by then. But this weekend we may get quite a bit more, highs in the mid-20s and lows around 13-18.

It's been snowing in the mountains for a couple of weeks now (above 6000 ft), but that's kind of normal. I love it here in the winter. Most of the time it's 20-25, no clouds, bright and sunny with light powdery snow on the ground. It can get pretty deep, but they know how and when to salt and plow. This past year, we still had 5-6 ft piles melting at the edge of parking lots in June. Now Crash is gonna want to go skiing. *sigh*
