Can someone explain for me... so on my current healthy plan, I pay about $300/month. If I had to go to the exchange, I'd pay about $600... why? -- nm

I expect competition in the exchanges will intensify in the future and prices will go down. Also, Vermont.

Is your current plan employer provided? If so, they probably cover some of the cost.

But the power of the exchanges should abate that, right? It's not 'individuals' anymore. Its a group? -- nm
