NLDS - Game 4
Facing elimination, the Cardinals turn to rookie Michael Wacha to save the season, in Pittsburgh. 7.1 innings of 1 hit (1 ER) ball. Cards Win.
NLCS - Game 2
Gets matched up with the best pitcher in the universe right now, Clayton Kershaw as the Cards hope to take the first 2 at home. 6.2 innings of 5 hit (0 ER) ball. Cards win.
NLCS - Game 6
Cards outmatched 2 straight, and LA has Kershaw on the mound again. We call on Wacha. 7 innings of 2 hit (0 ER) ball. Cards win game and Series.
WS - Game 2
Now, our #2...Wacha gets the ball IN Boston against John Lackey after the Cards were embarrassed in Game 1. 6 innings of 3 hit (2 ER) ball. Cards win and steal home field advantage.
WS - Game 6
And here we are. After being completely manhandled in our home stadium, the Cardinals (and the city) call on the 22 year old fire-baller one more time. Again, against John Lackey and again IN Boston.
Does the phenom have 1 more miracle game in him?
As sure as I am that it doesn't look good for us in this series...oddly enough, I feel like he actually does have 1 more miracle in him.
I'm ready for the Wacha-bration!
