The Vanguard 500 Index Signal (VIFSX) fund has an expense ratio of .05% - that's $0.50 per $1000 invested.
The Vanguard 500 Index Investment (VFINX) (retail) fund has an expense ratio of .17% - that's 1.70 per $1000 invested.
On a $100,000 account it's costing you $70 more per year to have the retail fund.
