What happened was that the show cut to a commercial when halftime arrived.

When the commercial ended, the viewers were alerted to the fact that Kubiak had collapsed. I watched the Colts take a knee and was confused when Kim asked who was being put on a stretcher.
They eventually found a camera shot that demonstrated Kubiak with his hands on his face due to his pain, but there wasn't anything showing him collapsing.
