I highly recommend it. Part of the story involves him even trying to get the film made, which is it's own neat story. It also works well as a doc on both Kurt and Courtney separate, if you are interested in either of them. Both are interesting, to say the least.
There is one character in particular that's worth the price of admission. You'll know him when you see him.
Con: No licensed Nirvana/Hole/Cobain music.
