At least once. It was some kind of trout from a mountain lake. And there's a story!

Was camping with some buddies at some remote mountain lakes. Fishing was going to be a chief food source for us. This one guy spent a good amount of time with no bites. Hot and frustrated at his bad luck, he wanted to take a break and needed someone to hold his line for him. Although I had never fished before, I would and he taught me really quick what to do in case there's a bite.
No sooner did he hand the line off to me and was walking back to the camp that I got a bite. Quickly, he came back to me and coached me on reeling it in. So I reeled it in!
My friends saved me that fish and made sure I got it served to me when it was time to eat. It was very tasty.
