I just bought a North Face bag on eBay for half price. My last one lasted me for eight years.

$50 and it's durable, lots of pockets and it's a good size.
Timbuk2 is a brand a lot of people recommend but they're expensive. Ebay has had everything I've looked for recently at half the price of the stores. Legit items and not knockoffs.
