I didn't hate last night's HIMYM but they've had stronger this season.

They're not pushing Ted and Robin again, they're just letting Ted express how difficult it can be to let go. And as you all know, I can relate to that.

We know that his search ends happily. he doesn't yet. Thus, watching the person you think you love marry someone else is like a slow punch to the gut.

I love that everyone else will get to meet the mother before Ted. I presumed it would all happen that weekend (like Lily did in the premiere) but it goes back up to a year now with Barney meeting her. Every scene with her this season has been tremendous.

Bryan Cranston's return was amusing but felt crammed in since they're just doing all the callbacks for the final season.

Ted and Marshall go to a Globetrotters game and cheer for the Generals. That's funny. "He's not pregnant ref, that's the ball!!"
