but I talked to my cousins (who are all a decade older than me) and they concur that Dad wasn't exactly "Mr. Accepting" when we were all younger.
Responses:
my dad said (and still says) some shockingly anti-gay stuff, but if real people are involved, he is shockingly accepting.
