I disagree. The Philippines won't be buying anything from them now.

And their influence over them is going to take a major hit. That could also be said for countries that are allies of the Philippines.
I think there's a lot more to it than goods.
I also disagree that the authoritarian rule looks appealing. Maybe to a couple of countries but the vast majority of the world is not looking China for how do things
