I think so. Sequels open bigger, the weekend before Thanksgiving is a huge box office weekend that has been dominated by other teen franchises for the

past few years (the original opened in the box office doldrums of late March), tracking has been suggesting $150M+ for weeks (and sometimes as high as $185), etc
