I thought it would be incredibly clever if Urban's character - the only one to survive the ambush - was actually crooked. Could still happen. It would also be cool if the baddies had compromised the MX's. EW is speculating that Urban may be a robot himself. Another promising twist.

My complaint is that Urban called to warn the chief and still the bad guys got in.

Overall, a very dark and gritty cop drama. Reminds me a lot of the original Robocop and not at all of the new Robocop.
