So, i just got a call from someone saying 'we found a cell phone, and you were the last person called at 9:38pm Saturday"

i look at my screen and don't recognize the number so i say 'are you calling FROM the lost phone?" They say "oh no, this is the lost and found department." Me: "Lost and found of what?", Them "Oh Pearson airport." (which really should have clued me in.) Anyway, it took MINUTES of wrangling for them to give me the number of the phone they found. I kept saying 'okay, let me check my phone log - i'll have to take the phone away from my ear for a second' - and then he'd try explaining to me again and ask me if i knew who called - which i never got to do - he decided that maybe he COULD tell me the # of the found phone. seriously, dude, stop talking and i'll tell you.

(it was my mom's phone, lyc)

but, see, Elizabeth WAS crazy. even when i was dealing with an idiot, i still wanted to help whoever it was i knew get their phone back!
