1. Whatever happened to just going out in the neighborhood and playing "until the streetlights come on"?
2. I read a book a couple of years ago called "The Over Scheduled Child". The author said when you have to actually start making "playdates" for your kids, you're depriving them of learning how to socialize on their own, plus you've probably got them too busy with stuff like music lessons and sports, etc, that they don't have time to just be kids.
