You know what else Alaska does? If they have mechanical difficulties and they have to bring a new plane in for you, if there's another plane taking

off for your destination in a couple of hours, they won't put your flight group on that plane so you can meet connecting flights or at least only be 2 hours late. Oh no, they'll put that passenger group on the on-time plane and make your passenger group suffer another 2-3 hours. Then, when your 7pm plane finally boards at midnight, all the babies and toddlers wake up and start screaming because their parents deliberately picked the 7pm flight so their child would be nice and drowsy and full by take-off rather than hungry, cold, and agitated. And you know why they do this? It's so they don't have to record 2 different passenger groups as not being on time, rather than just one. Oh yeah, since they got the replacement plane within a 4 hour window, there were no vouchers, no food, not even a tiny bottle of vodka. This happened like 10 years ago and I still have a hatey boner.
