I'd heard you can't use DVR features via TV but I can at least FF, RWD, Pause the current channel via my box. The ability to say "Mute" is killer

No more remote, except to watch saved DVR shows. No more hunting for the remote to mute commercials or switch back and forth between channels or tv input. It's *fantastic*.
