chatted with my doctor brother. he says a man on the plane kept passing out. he doesn't know why.

Two other doctors helped him (and there were more docs on the plane). My brother gave the order to divert the flight. They landed in Newfoundland, they stabilized the man, and local EMTs took him to the hospital. Plane stayed on the tarmac for 2.5 hours and passengers were not allowed to deplane. It's the first time my nieces and nephew were in Canada, too bad they just sat in the plane.
