Glad he won and he looked good - against Rios - but as I mentioned, Rios is just a younger, smaller and dumber Margarito. Although Rios obviously was told not to just move forward he was a fairly easy target. His face, left eye, looked bad at the end from the repeated beating but...
Pac should have knocked him out.
This was clearly a confidence builder fight for him. He was told to hit him and then move out of the way. That is never what he's been told. Roach always trusted him to know when to get out of the way and to let Pac's naturally aggression overwhelm a fighter. But now he's being told not to engage the opponent. That's not good.
I think a variety of things are happening - I think he's diminishing, I think his confidence is somewhat broken and I think his continued turn to religion has weakened his killer instinct.
