because the taxi driver decided that with only 1 hour to go, he would take us on a tour of the island. We were FREAKING!!!! Out!!!!!! Big Time!!!!!
This was the Barbados trip I teased on a post last week. We would have been so screwed if we missed the ship. Some of us only had drivers licenses, and others didn't bring any money or credit cards.
It's funny now, but at the time we were in a panic.
