I re-watched and 2nd time - looking for clues that the Guv was gonna snap again ... when the girl at the table made the statement "that's the safest I've felt since this thing started" - the look and flinch the Guv gave seemed like she really hurt him with that statement and he then became determined to be back in charge and the hero to her - and his new "family/community"

his acting in last nights show was pretty awesome (IMHO) no idea if this is following the comics or not - but I like it
