Slackertalk knows best..Interesting situation here:
My father-in-law recently passed away.
He had a timeshare. On the deed of it he puts my wife's name without her consent (or knowledge) i.e. nothing was signed (by her).
Father-in-law "forgets" to make the timeshare maintenance fee payments and passes... now the timeshare management company puts us on the hook for the payments and is about wreck our credit scores (by handing the case over to a collection agency or letting the timeshare go into foreclosure).
What to do? Any idea how/if you can be held liable, when you have no idea this happened?
