Maybe there's no such thing as a bad poutine, but only if you categorize the offenders as "crimes against poutine"

I've had a lot of terrible poutines. Sauce too ketchupy. Beef gravy used for sauce. Cheddar used instead of curds. Fries too thin. Fries too greasy. Fries too powdery. Etc.
