One of my greatest, easy joys in life is watching Diva sing karaoke...

It's fun to see the crowd reaction. I mean after a night of "Sully" warbling through "The Piano Man" and a few girls from BC screeching through, "Living on a Prayer" it's easy pickins' for Diva admittedly. It's an easy crowd I suspect but the applause is real. I love the initial reaction when she hits her first big note. I love to watch the crowd the few seconds before she gets to it and then when it hits. It's a physical reaction in the crowd. It's akin to that great rock solo at a big stadium concert but in a smaller, intimate setting.

But I enjoy watching her more and see that aside from the applause, singing is something she loves.

There's a reason the Boston Globe called Diva "vocally stunning" this year. That was a much tougher crowd, night in and night out and she killed it every time I saw the show.

Again, the applause has all been earned.
