skeletons or outrageous behavior wouldn't really surprise me about anyone, but I mean broadly, Julia's gotten the America's Sweetheart treatment

I'm thinking mostly about the Oprah crowd reaction to these women. I don't think there's been much green-with-envy attitude toward Julia like there is with Paltrow. And I think a lot of people would agree, even if they don't think much of her acting, that Paltrow at least is camera-friendly for movies. So it's not like she's some spoiled rich kid like Paris Hilton, and I don't think people necessarily feel Paltrow hasn't paid her dues to get where she is, it's just she seems oblivious to how easy she's had it.
