Is it reviled today? I think those advocating violence in today's world are, but the IRA is power sharing in Northern Ireland

And its leaders in the 1910s and 1920s like Michael Collins and Eamon de Valera aren't reviled. The IRA of the 70s and 80s, sure but that was a different time, and with nowhere near the levels of oppression of Ireland 70 years earlier or South Africa at the same time.
