Whatever it is, I hope it doesn't require surgery. That's where I'm at with it. It was black belt testing...

and one of the parts of that is the candidates have to spar 1 on 2. Jamie was there and was acting as one of the 2 for the candidates.

He apparently did a jumping front kick, saw a block coming and changed it to a roundhouse mid-air.

That through him off a little and the knee popped and buckled when he landed. Couldn't put weight on it for a couple days, then about Tuesday seemed fine, but a little tender. We held him out of martial arts all week...then messing around Saturday morning, he essentially did the same thing.

He's a pretty strong, agile kid...so it's scary to see him land on that leg and just go down in a heap. I'd hate to see him need surgery.
